The Story Behind LayerLock
Trevor Tooke, our founder, graduated from high school in 2018 and from college in 2022. During his high school years, he experienced the fear and uncertainty brought on by lockdowns, active shooter drills, and the tragic rise in school shootings across the nation. Motivated by the urgent need for a better solution, Trevor developed LayerLock—a system designed to provide immediate threat response without exposing school staff to the daily risks and stress of carrying firearms.
LayerLock was created to give schools peace of mind and the tools they need to protect their classrooms from the unthinkable.
