How it works
LayerLock Emergency Response in Action
During a normal school day, the Crisis Vault remains in a fully dormant state, and no one can access it. To bring the vault out of dormancy, a verified activation signal must be sent from a wearable panic button carried by an authorized staff member. Once that signal is received, the Crisis Vault lights up and chimes, notifying the teacher that a confirmed emergency is in progress and remote unlock has been initiated. The staff member must then complete the local credential unlock, ensuring secure, authorized access before retrieving the critical medical and defensive equipment needed during a lockdown.
